A diverse group of participants (in terms of gender, nationality, age, disciplinary background and attitude) assures a variety of perspectives to challenge the status quo and reveal blind spots.

If someone remains without a role, they could zone out and lose focus. In the worst-case scenario, they disturb the group and bring the workshop to fail.
